Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Graduate to join the finance team at our Midrand Head Office. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience and practical exposure within a corporate finance environment

Responsibilities

• Perform creditor payment reconciliations accurately and on time
• Capture invoices and perform invoice reduction where necessary (e
• g
• , incomplete or price-difference invoices)
• Follow up on outstanding workflows, claims from suppliers, and obtain credit notes where required
• Prepare and process journals when requested by senior management
• Complete creditors’ reconciliations monthly, ensuring all reconciling items are cleared
• Prepare payment requests with complete supporting documentation according to deadlines
• Accurately file creditors’ documentation
• Reconcile high volumes of accounts weekly and monthly
• Assist with daily data capturing tasks
• Ensure all payments are approved by senior management before processing

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting or related field
